8. Youth Membership Fees

Youth membership fees are dependent on the age group. For the 2026/27 season, youth membership fees are:

Under-8 (Y3 and younger) -----------£115
Under-10 (Y4 and Y5) -------------------£155
Under-12 (Y6 and Y7) -------------------£175
Under-14 (Y8 and Y9) -------------------£175
Under-16 (Y10 and Y11) ---------------- £175

Match fees
11-aside matches (U14/U16/U18, and Mixed Development) ------------£8.50

There are no match fees for U10 and U12 players taking part in Yorkshire Youth Hockey League competition or other 7-aside tournaments during the regular season (September to April).

How to Pay Membership Fees
We are trying to reduce transactions costs and we therefore request members make a bank transfer to the following bank account:

Sheffield Hockey Club
Sort Code: 40-41-18
Account Number: 31809539

Please use the word “SUBS” followed by your name as the reference. Please make a separate payment for each member of your family. Do not group multiple family members together in a single payment.

Please note this is a new bank account for our new company. Please do not use the old bank account details which may be set up on your devices.

Support with Membership Fees
We offer discounted membership to support families playing hockey across generations. *** the discount is applied to a senior player's membership where that person is a parent or guardian of one or more youth players . We suggest the level of discount claimed should equate to the number of their children playing hockey at the club but we would politely ask families to 'pay what they can' and to therefore choose the discount appropriate to them (discount limited to one playing parent or guardian).

Family Discount - Level 1 --- 25%
Family Discount - Level 2 -- 35%
Family Discount - Level 3 -- 45%

We have a club wide bursary scheme, as we want everyone to have the opportunity to experience and enjoy hockey regardless of financial circumstances.

There is also an 'Introduce a Sponsor' scheme, allowing members the opportunity to receive a discount against annual membership/match fees.
