Sheffield Talent Academy is committed to creating a safe and inclusive environment for all participants.
We believe everyone has the right to enjoy hockey and develop their skills in a positive and supportive atmosphere.
Our Safeguarding Commitment
• Safeguarding Policy: We have a clear and comprehensive Safeguarding Policy that outlines our commitment to protecting young people. This policy is mandatory reading for all players, coaches, managers, and parents.
• Qualified Staff: All coaches and managers working with players under 18 undergo DBS checks and hold safeguarding certificates.
• Reporting Concerns: We encourage everyone to report any concerns about a young person's safety or well-being.
Safeguarding is Everyone's Responsibility
Just like at England Hockey, we believe safeguarding is a shared responsibility. It's important for everyone involved in the academy to be aware of potential risks and know how to report any concerns.
