Family Discount (applied to Senior Membership Fees):
We recognise family life is busy and expensive and therefore the full senior membership may not be appropriate for every parent player if they can only commit to limited number of fixtures.

This season we are offering a discount to parents or guardians who play hockey at SHC and also have a child playing youth hockey at the club.

The level of discount available ranges from 25% (single child playing their youth hockey at SHC) up to 45% (three or more children playing their youth hockey at SHC). We do politely ask families to ‘pay what they can’ and to therefore choose the discount appropriate to them as follows:

Level 1 – 25% Discount 1x SHC Youth Member/Child £236
Level 2 – 35% Discount 2x SHC Youth Members/Children £205
Level 2 – 45% Discount 3+ SHC Youth Members/Children £173

The discount above is limited to one playing parent/guardian senior membership discount per family.

Under 14’s & Under 16’s £175
Senior Team Supplement (U14/U16 members invited to play senior hockey in addition to youth hockey) £55
Under 10’s & Under 12’s £155
Under 8’s £115

We have a club wide bursary scheme, as we want everyone to have the opportunity to experience and enjoy hockey regardless of financial circumstances.
There is also an 'Introduce a Sponsor' scheme, allowing members the opportunity to receive a discount against annual membership/match fees.

How to Pay Membership Fees
We are trying to reduce transactions costs and we therefore request members make a bank transfer to the following bank account:

Please use the word “SUBS” followed by your name as the reference. Please make a separate payment for each member of your family. Do not group multiple family members together in a single payment.

Match Fees -- Season 2025/26
For any player playing in a senior match: £12.00
For any players playing an 11-aside youth fixture (U14, U16 and Mixed Development fixtures): £8.50

Match fees will be payable via the Pitchero App and will be allocated to each player by their captain or team manager on each matchday. This will make payment quick and easy and will only require a few clicks on your mobile phone. Payment will be required before players can be selected for subsequent matches. Please make your captain’s job easier and ensure you pay promptly.

The match fees contribute towards the cost of umpiring, pitch hire costs, league fees, hockey teas and petrol expenses claimed by drivers.
