Youth Coaching Opportunities – 2024/25 Season
Weekday Evening and/or Weekend Vacancies
(Minimum of two hour per week)
Competitive Rates of Pay (£22.50 per session for lead coaches and £15 per session for assistant coaches)
Sheffield Hockey Club (SHC) is actively looking for new coaches to join our highly successful youth hockey development programme for next season and hopefully beyond.
We currently have a number of openings available for next season to be part our highly successful England Hockey Talent Centre accredited youth hockey programme all of which offer a great opportunity and ideal environment for any ambitious and aspiring coach to further grow and develop their coaching skills.
Alongside our competitive rates of pay as a valued member of youth coaching team you will receive on-going support with regards to your continued professional development alongside access to our Coach Development Forum (quarterly CPD sessions for our network of coaches at both youth and senior level).
We’re looking for individual’s who are able to commit to coaching/assisting for a minimum of two hours per week, throughout the whole of next season, on either one or more weekday evenings (Tuesday 5:30-7pm/Wednesday 7-8:30 and Thursday 5:30 to 7pm) and/or over the weekend (including attendance at designated weekend matches both home and away).
We would love to hear from you if you already have previous coaching experience, however, if this is the start of your coaching journey and you possess good communication skills, we would also be interested in hearing from you regarding joining our coaching team and beginning your coaching development.

All coaches that wish to join our youth coaching programme will be subject to reference and DBS safeguarding checks as a part of our standard conditions of contract/engagement.
